Probably the most common reason for compressor failure is clogged air filters. To extend compressor life, change the external air filter(s) at least once every 6 months of operation, or more often in dirty/dusty locations. This is the complete filter that is used on the Rotary Vane Compressors. It includes the air filter, air filter housing and a 3/8" fpt connector.
